Traveling with a toddler? YOU NEED THIS!

Have you ever chased a toddler through an airport? Fortunately, I haven't but I have seen it more times than I can count. I travel a lot for work and have seen some crazy things...nothing quite as disturbing as a few weeks ago watching a mother struggle with her stroller after the security line, then getting her baby strapped back in and plopping the car seat ON TOP of the child in the stroller and rushing to her gate. I was stressed out just watching her juggle everything, then she piled the car seat on the poor kid and I had to walk away!

We faced a similar dilemma before our cruise - do we take a stroller and what about a car seat b/c we were heading to FL a day early and wanted her secured in transit (she was only 2 at the time). I ended up talking to a friend and she let us borrow this amazing contraption (pic below). We were able to strap my daughter's TSA approved car seat to this thing with wheels and travel through the airport with her riding on it! Best part, she was safe and secure the entire time, never left my side b/c she was buckled with a 4 pt. harness and I was rolling her with me like a suitcase. She was able to ride in her seat on the airplane, and also used it during our port transfers to and from the airport!

As you can imagine, this got quite a few stares and chuckles as she was signing twinkle twinkle through the Orlando airport and waiving at people as she went by :). Bottom line, if you plan on traveling with a toddler you need this in your life!
